With MTD Rapid Tests, an Methadone-positive urine specimen (MTD concentration >300 ng/mL) will not generate a red or pink line in the test line region because of drug competition, while a MTD-negative urine specimen or a specimen containing a MTD drug concentration less than the cut-off number will generate a line in the test line region.
