With MDMA Rapid Test, an Ecstasy-positive urine specimen (MDMA concentration >500 ng/mL) will not generate a colored line in the test line region because the ecstasy drug and its metabolites have taken all the binding sites at the test region, and one pink line at the control region indicates a positive result; while a MDMA-negative urine specimen or a sample containing a ecstasy drug concentration less than the cut-off value will generate a pink or red line in the test line region, indicating a negative result.
