HIV AIDs Rapid Test Cassettes
One-step HIV 1/2 Test - AIDs screening Test Device
HIV AIDS rapid test kits, also called one-step HIV tests, are direct binding screening testing devices for the presence of antibodies to HIV 1 and HIV 2 viruses. HIV rapid tests are based on the principle of double antigen sandwich immunoassay principle for the detection of Anti-HIV in human serum, plasma or whole blood specimens. Purified recombinant antigens are employed to identify HIV antibodies specifically. Rapid HIV tests are very sensitive and only takes about 10-15 minutes to get the preliminary results.
At present, Atlas Link Biotech is supplying three kinds of AIDS screening test devices, namely HIV 1+2 serum test, HIV 1+2 Whole blood test, and HIV Tri-Line test. While all of them can detect HIV 1 and HIV 2 with a single test cassette, the HIV three line test kits can detect HIV antibodies of all isotypes (IgG. IgM, IgA) specific to HIV-1 and HIV-2 simultaneously, and by showing the testing result through two different lines (indicated on the testing cassette by the number 1 and 2). So the HIV tri-line test cassette not only shows positive or negative result, it also show whether the infection is HIV1 or HIV2.
