Cocaine screen tests are an immunoassay based on the principle of drug competitive binding. With our CE COC drug test, an Cocaine-positive urine specimen (COC concentration >300 ng/mL) will not generate a pink line in the test line region because of drug cocaine and its metabolites take all the binding sites at the test region, which makes other color developing chemical reagents float away. On the orther hand when perform the assay with a COC drug test, if the the urine specimen is COC-negative or the cocaine drug concentration is less than the cut-off value above mentioned, color developing reagents will be captured by the precoated chemical reagents on the test region, thus a pink line will emerge, indicating a negative result.
